[1]The claims in respect of accrued but unpaid holiday pay for both claimants are wellfounded.[2]The claim in respect of unauthorised deductions from wages for Mrs Brown is welfounded.[3]The respondent is ordered to pay the claimants compensation, calculated as set out below on or before 24 December 2019. Holiday pay Mr O Brown 1.4 weeks’ gross pay at £528.85 per week £740.39 Mrs N Brown 1.4 weeks’ gross pay at £480.76 per week £673.08 Arrears of wages - Mrs N Brown 2 weeks’ gross pay = £961.54 Less sum paid - £865.35 £96.19[4]The total sum awarded to Mr O Brown is £740.39. The total sum awarded to Mrs N Brown is £769.27.[5]For the avoidance of doubt, the sums awarded under this judgment have been calculated gross and may be taxable in the hands of the claimants.
