The judgment of the Tribunal is that the claimant’s claims are dismissed.REASONS
The claimant and the respondent did not attend the hearing, but the respondent had indicated it would not do so. There had been extensive recent attempts by the parties to settle. Since the claimant did not attend the hearing (which had been listed since 16 July 2018) and there was no message from her before the hearing was listed to commence and the Tribunal’s attempts to telephone her mobile phone were not answered, it appeared she was not pursuing her claim and the Tribunal dismissed it under Rule 47 of the Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013.
