[1]By a letter dated 3rd July 2024 the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the claim should not be struck out because you were informed: ‘Whilst you may have no witnesses, you are your own witness, so you need to make and exchange with the respondent a witness statement setting out the evidence you will give in support of your claims. ‘Please confirm that you will do so, and the date by which you will do so. Failure to do so is likely to lead to your case being struck out. Please reply in writing by 10 July at the latest.’[2]You have failed to reply to this letter. You have failed to make representations in writing, or has failed to make any sufficient representations, why this should not be done or to request a hearing. The claim is therefore struck out.[3]The hearing fixed for 9th August 2024 will not take place.
