EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNALS
Case No 2411907/2023
Mr R MeliaClaimantSylvester’s Bar UK LtdRespondent
Employment Judge McDonaldDate 4 June 2024

JUDGMENT

The claims of unfair dismissal and for a redundancy payment are struck out.

REASONS

[1]By letters dated 20 December 2023 and 22 March 2024, the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the claims should not be struck out because the claimant has insufficient service with the respondent to bring such claims, so the Tribunal does not have jurisdiction to hear them.[2]The claimant has failed to make representations in writing, or has failed to make any sufficient representations, why this should not be done or to request a hearing. The claims are therefore struck out.[3]The claimant’s other claims are not affected by this judgment. _____________________________ Employment Judge McDonald 16 April 2024[1]By a letter dated 16 May 2024, the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the claim should not be struck out because it has not been actively pursued.[2]The claimant has failed to make representations in writing, or has failed to make any sufficient representations, why this should not be done or to request a hearing. The claim is therefore struck out.[3]The hearing listed for 15 July 2024 has been cancelled.
