JUDGMENT
The unanimous judgment of the Tribunal on remedy for failure to make reasonable adjustments for disability (Equality Act 2010 sections 20 &21) is as follows:[1]The Tribunal has made no recommendation or recommendations.[2]The claimant is awarded the cumulative sum of £15,000 (fifteen thousand pounds) for the failure of the respondent to make a reasonable adjustment to its practice of:(i) allocating the claimant and other case workers a case load of between 50 and 68 cases;(ii) allocating a caseload of which approximately 90% were complex psychological cases; and(iii) not checking in with the claimant regularly about her mental wellbeing on from 1st November 2022.[5]We make no award for any financial losses.[6]The claimant is entitled to interest in accordance with the Employment Tribunal’s (interest on awards in discrimination cases) Regulations 1996: Interest on the award is £3,470.24, therefore the total award is £18,470.24.
