JUDGMENT
[1]The application by the respondent for an extension of time for lodging a response form is refused. The remainder of this judgment is made pursuant to Rule 21 of the Employment Tribunal Rules of Procedure 2013.[2]Under section 164(2) Employment Rights Act 1996 it is just and equitable that the claimant should receive a redundancy payment even though his complaint was presented more than six months after the relevant date.[3]Under section 135 Employment Rights Act 1996 the claimant has the right to a redundancy payment in the sum of £2,212.50 and the respondent is ordered to pay him that sum.
