The claimant’s claim comprising complaints of unfair dismissal and breach of statutory duty is dismissed. The Tribunal does not have jurisdiction to hear his complaints. The claimant did not have two years’ service with the first respondent as required by Section 108 Employment Rights Act 1996 in order to bring an unfair dismissal complaint. The claimant was not able to show infringement of a relevant statutory right. A breach of the provisions of The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 is not a relevant statutory right within section 104 Employment Rights Act 1996.
