JUDGMENT
[1]The claimant is entitled to a redundancy payment from DBK Construction Limited.[2]The amount of the redundancy payment is £11,538.46.[3]The amount payable by the Secretary of State under section 168 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 is accordingly £11,538.46.[4]The Secretary of State ought to make a payment to the claimant under section 182 of the Employment Rights Act 1996, in respect of amounts which DBK Construction Limited was liable to pay the claimant for failure to give statutory notice of termination.[5]The amount of that payment is £3,692.24.[6]The total amount payable by the Secretary of State to the claimant is therefore £15,230.70.
