Mr S Woodcock v Beech Hill Hotel Ltd: 2409501/2022
JUDGMENT
[1]Beech Hill Hotel Limited is added as a Respondent and substitutes the originally named Respondent, Jonathan Allan, under rule 34 of the Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013. This is because the original and substituted Respondent identified the substituted name as the correct title for the business. Mr Woodcock identified Mr Allan as the Respondent in his claim form but this was an error as Mr Allan was Mr Woodcock’s supervisor, rather than his employer. The substituted Respondent has been aware of the ongoing proceedings as Mr Allan appeared on behalf of the Respondent at the hearing.[2]The Claimant’s claim for unauthorised deduction of wages is not well founded and is dismissed.
