JUDGMENT

The claim is struck out.

REASONS

[1]The claim form was presented on the 22 November 2022. The preliminary hearing listed for 18 September 2023 has been adjourned to 7 May 2024. There have been no communications from the claimant since issuing proceedings. By a letter dated 11th December 2023 the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the claim should not be struck out because it has not been actively pursued.[2]The Tribunal wrote to the claimant on the 7 January 2024 attaching a copy of the letter dated 11 December 2023 and warning her that if she does not respond or request a hearing the next step was to strike out her claims. The claimant has failed to make any representations in writing as why this should not be done or to request a hearing. The claimant has not made any contact with the respondent and the Tribunal. The claim has not been actively pursued over a period of 16 months and is therefore struck out.[3]The hearing fixed for 7th May 2024 will not take place.
