[1]The respondent did not make an unauthorised deduction from the claimant’s wages by paying his final salary after 14 July 2023.[2]Had the tribunal found that the respondent had made such a deduction, it would have awarded him £637.97 under section 24(2) of the Employment Rights Act 2013.[3]The respondent did not breach the claimant’s contract of employment by paying his final salary after 14 July 2023.[4]Had the tribunal found that the respondent had breached his contract, it would have awarded him £637.97 as damages.[5]The respondent’s application for a costs order is refused.
