JUDGMENT

Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21 The time for presenting a response having expired , and no valid response having been presented by the respondent within the prescribed time limit, It is the judgment of the Tribunal that:[1]The respondent has made unauthorised deductions in the total sum of £3482.14 from the claimant's wages , in respect of his wages due in the period April to May 2021, and is ordered to pay the claimant the said sum of £3482.14. The respondent is to pay the gross sum less the appropriate deductions for tax and national insurance, if any, for which it must account to HMRC.[2]Whilst the claimant had indicated a breach of contract claim, he has since confirmed that he is only claiming his unpaid wages, and hence this is the only award that the Tribunal makes.
