Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21 The claim was issued in the North West region of the Employment Tribunals on 30 June 2023. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, in accordance with rule 21 of the Rules of Procedure as follows:[1]It is adjudged that the claimant was unfairly dismissed and is entitled to a basic award of £2,680.54; and[2]The respondent dismissed the claimant in breach of contract in respect of notice and the respondent is ordered to pay damages to the claimant in the sum of £1787.03.
