JUDGMENT

[1]The claimant’s claim that the respondent withheld a pay rise and that that amounted to pregnancy discrimination (s.18 Equality Act 2010) and/or detriment on the grounds of pregnancy (s. 47 Employment Rights Act 1996 and Reg 19 Maternity and Parental Leave (etc) Regulations 1999) fails and is dismissed.[2]The claimant’s claim of unauthorised deductions from wages (holiday pay) succeeds. The respondent is ordered to pay the claimant the gross sum of £2,305.37.[3]The tribunal has no jurisdiction to hear the claimant’s claim of breach of the right to daily rest breaks (Reg 30 Working Time Regulations 1998) as it was brought outside the applicable time limit.[4]The claimant’s claim of unauthorised deductions from wages (maternity pay) succeeds. The respondent is ordered to pay the claimant the gross sum of £1,932.84.
