JUDGMENT
[1]The respondent made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant’s wages by failing to pay his final wage due on the 30th January 2023 together with half a days accrued but untaken holiday pay and is ordered to pay him the sum of £2626.96 net and £204.54 net totalling £2831.50.[2]The tribunal found the respondent was in breach of its duty under section (1)(1) of the Employment Rights Act 1996 and is ordered to pay two weeks’ wages totalling £1212.44 this being the minimum increase in accordance with Section 38(3) Employment Act 2002.[3]The total sum payable to the claimant is £4043.94, payable in 28 days.
