JUDGMENT
The judgment of the Tribunal is that:(1) The claimant’s effective date of termination was 27 February 2023 when she received a letter from the respondent’s Payroll team dated 22 February 2023.(2) The claimant therefore presented her claim in time on 30 May 2023 in accordance with section 111 Employment Rights Act 1996 and allowing for the relevant early conciliation period, from 26 to 30 May 2023.(3) The complaints of unfair dismissal and breach of contract will therefore proceed to the final hearing listed to take place in Manchester Employment Tribunal on 7 and 8 October 2024.
