Ms T Howarth v Calderprint Ltd (in administration) and Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy: 2406142/2019

EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNALS
Case No 2406142/2019
Ms T HowarthClaimant1. Calderprint Ltd (in administration) 2. Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial StrategyRespondent
Employment Judge SlaterDate 13 May 2020

JUDGMENT

The complaint of breach of contract is struck out.

REASONS

[1]By a letter dated 26 March 2020 the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the complaint of breach of contract should not be struck out because it has not been actively pursued.[2]The claimant has failed to make representations in writing why this should not be done or to request a hearing. The complaint of breach of contract is therefore struck out.[3]The claimant’s remaining claim for a protective award will still proceed.
