JUDGMENT

[1]The claimant’s claim was originally brought against Mr Bal personally. Having heard from the Claimant and Mr Bal, and considered the evidence submitted by both parties, I determined that the correct Respondent was Leo’s Bar and Grill Ltd. Having heard from Mr Bal and Mr Polloni regarding the substitution of Leo’s Bar and Grill Ltd as the Respondent in this case, I determined that it was in the interests of justice to substitute Leo’s Bar and Grill Ltd as the Respondent in this case, and so substituted Leo’s Bar and Grill Ltd as the Respondent pursuant to Rule 34 of the Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013.[2]Having explained to the parties at the hearing that I would be checking my calculations after the hearing, I have of my own initiative reconsidered the remedy matter, which has led to a change to the amount awarded.[3]The respondent has made an unlawful deduction from the claimant's wages and is ordered to pay to the claimant the gross sum of £1545.00 in respect of the amount unlawfully deducted.
