[1]The claimant was dismissed by the respondent on 05 April 2019.[2]The reason for dismissal was redundancy and the claimant is entitled to a statutory redundancy payment in the sum of £2565 to be paid by the Respondent[3]The claimant is entitled to a notice period of 12 weeks in accordance with section 86 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 and the terms of his contract of employment. The respondent is ordered to pay damages for breach of contract in the sum of £1710.[4]The claimant is entitled to payment of accrued untaken holidays. The parties agreed the amount owing was £209 and the respondent is ordered to pay this amount as further damages for breach of contract.[5]The claimant’s dismissal was unfair and he is entitled to a compensatory award.
