Case No 2405670/2023
Mrs J MaddisonClaimantGladstones SolicitorsRespondent
Employment Judge BattenDate 11 April 2024

JUDGMENT

The claim is struck out.

REASONS

[1]By a letter dated 28 February 2024, the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the claim should not be struck out becausea. the claimant has failed to comply with case management orders made on 14 August 2023, orders numbered 3 and 4 therein;b. the claimant failed to attend the case management preliminary hearing on 28 February 2024, only notifying the Tribunal (and not notifying the respondent) at 18:39 on the evening of 27 February 2024; andc. the claim has not progressed since 14 August 2023, such that it has not been actively pursued.[2]The claimant has failed to make representations in writing, or has failed to make any sufficient representations, why this should not be done or to request a hearing. The claim is therefore struck out.
