The claimant’s claims of Unfair Dismissal and age discrimination are struck out The Tribunal does not have jurisdiction to determine the claimant’s claims of unfair dismissal and age discrimination as the claims were brought beyond the relevant statutory time limits: In respect of the unfair dismissal claim, applying S111 Employment Rights Act 1996, it was reasonably practical for the claim to have been made within the statutory time limit and the claim was not brought within a reasonable further period. In respect of the claim of age discrimination, applying S123 Equality Act 2010, it would not be just and equitable in all the circumstances to extend time to allow the claim to proceed.
