Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21 The respondent having failed to present a response, the judgment of the tribunal is that:[1]The claims for a redundancy payment and breach of contract are well founded.[2]The respondent is ordered to pay the claimant a redundancy payment in the sum of £1467.00.[3]The respondent is further ordered to pay the claimant damages for breach of contract in the sum of £1755.00.[4]The sum at paragraph 2 is calculated by reference to the statutory maximum in force at the date of termination of the claimant’s employment. The sum at paragraph 3 is calculated gross and may be taxable when received by the claimant.[5]The hearing listed for 6 June 2018 is vacated.
