JUDGMENT

The complaint of unfair dismissal is struck out.

REASONS

[1]By a letter dated 16 May 2019 the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the complaint of unfair dismissal should not be struck out.[2]The claimant has failed to make representations in writing, or has failed to make any sufficient representations, why this should not be done or to request a hearing. The complaint of unfair dismissal is therefore struck out.[3]The claimant’s remaining claims will be listed subsequently. 01.07.19[1]The respondent has made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant's wages and is ordered to pay the claimant the gross sum of £3,800 (one month’s pay) subject to the usual statutory deductions.[2]The claimant was dismissed in breach of contract in respect of notice and the respondent is ordered to pay damages to the claimant in the sum of £876.92 (one week’s pay) subject to the usual statutory deductions.[3]The claims will no longer be listed for a hearing at the tribunal.
