JUDGMENT

[1]The judge declared that the claimant was entitled to a redundancy payment based on her age at the date of dismissal (18), number of completed years’ service (3) and gross weekly pay (£221.20) in the sum of £331.80 (0.5 x 3 x £221.20: years worked under the age of 20 are paid at 0.5 per year, not 1 per year)[2]The respondent made an unlawful deduction from wages in respect of holiday pay and the respondent is ordered to pay £50.40 (9 hours @ £5.60 per hour) to the claimant.[3]The claimant is entitled to damages for the respondent’s failure to give statutory notice of termination and the respondent is ordered to pay the sum of £637.26 (3 x £212.42 (net pay)) to the claimant.[4]The respondent failed to provide the claimant with a written statement of terms of employment and the respondent is ordered to pay the claimant £884.80 (4 weeks @ £221.20). 10.2 Judgment - rule 61 Case No: 2404974/2017
