Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, accordance with rule 21 of the Rules of Procedure.[2]The respondent was in breach of contract , (for the period from July 2021 until Feb 2022),by deducting pension contributions in the total sum of £1,189.60 from the claimant’s pay , but not applying the pension contributions to the claimant’s pension, and failing to pay employer’s pension contributions in the total sum of £713.81. The respondent it therefore ordered to pay the claimant £1,903.41 as damages for breach of contract. This sum is not subject to any deductions for tax and national insurance.
