JUDGMENT
[1]The respondent made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant’s wages by deducting the discretionary bonus previously paid on the 28 December 2022 and is ordered to pay her the sum of £553.73 net.[2]Under section 270A of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 the Tribunal adjusts the award made to the claimant by increasing it by £55.37 being a 10% uplift to the award for breaches by the respondent in terms of its failure to follow the ACAS Code of Practice on Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures.[3]The total sum payable to the claimant is £609.10.
