Mr C Mortin v Manchester Electroplating Ltd: 2403220/2024

EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNALS
Case No 2403220/2024
Mr C MortinClaimantManchester Electroplating LtdRespondent
Employment Judge TobinDate 3 December 2024

JUDGMENT

The claim is struck out.

REASONS

[1]By numerous correspondence from various Employment Judges and most recently by Judge McDonald dated 14 November 2024 the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the claim should not be struck out because it has not been actively pursued.[2]It is no longer possible to have a fair hearing of the claim because the claimant has disengaged from these proceedings.[3]The claimant has failed to make representations in writing, or has failed to make any sufficient representations, why this should not be done or to request a hearing. The claim is therefore struck out.
