Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The claimant is entitled to a redundancy payment of £720.00.[2]The respondent breached the claimant’s contract by failing to give notice of termination and is ordered to pay damages of £720.00.[3]The hearing listed on 12 July 2019 has been vacated. Note – Damages for breach of contract have been assessed on the basis of the claimant’s gross pay. When that amount is paid to the claimant, HM Revenue and Customs are likely to require the claimant to pay tax and national insurance on it.
