Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The claim was issued in the Manchester Employment Tribunals on 17 May 2024. The second respondent (Peterson James & Co Ltd) has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, or part of it, in accordance with rule 21 of the Rules of Procedure.[2]The second respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages and must pay the claimant £4103.40 gross.[3]The first respondent has presented a valid response to the claims and the claim against the first respondent is currently listed for hearing on 20 November 2024. That hearing remains listed at present. This rule 21 judgment is issued against the second respondent and not the first respondent.
