[1]By Order dated 27 November 2024, the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the claim should not be struck out because: The claimant failed to attend the preliminary hearing on 21 November 2024 and did not contact the Tribunal to notify her unavailability nor to give a reason for her non-attendance. The claimant failed to respond to the Tribunal’s messages and the clerk’s attempts to communicate with her regarding the preliminary hearing. The claimant failed to reply to the respondent’s request, dated 11 July 2024, for further and better particulars of the complaints pursued. The claimant failed to heed the comments of Employment Judge Cookson in the Tribunal’s letter dated 16 August 2024, nor has she taken any action as a result. The claimant failed to take any action in response to the directions of Employment Judge Dunlop, in the Tribunal’s letter dated 17 October 2024. It appears that the claim is not being actively pursued.[2]The claimant has failed to make representations in writing, or has failed to make any sufficient representations, why this should not be done or to request a hearing. The claim is therefore struck out.
