Employment Judge HorneDate 2 February 2024

JUDGMENT

The claim is struck out.

REASONS

[1]Rule 37 of the Employment Tribunal Rules of Procedure 2013 gives the tribunal the power to strike out a claim if it has not been actively pursued.[2]By a letter dated 28 December 2023, the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the complaint should not be struck out because it had not been actively pursued.[3]The claimant has failed to make representations in writing why this should not be done or to request a hearing.[4]The hearing on 21-24 October 2024 has been cancelled.
