JUDGMENT
[1]The claimant was subject to direct discrimination (because of the protected characteristic of sex) contrary to s13 Equality Act 2010.[2]The claimant was automatically unfairly dismissed contrary to s99 Employment Rights Act 1996.[3]The claimant’s compensation claim is limited to an injury to feelings award in relation to her claim of direct discrimination.[4]The parties have agreed that the claimant be awarded injury to feelings of £16,000 inclusive of interest from the date of the discriminatory act complained of (6 January 2019) up to and including 28 February 2020.
