The respondent made a series of unauthorised deductions from the claimant's pay between 5 June 2023 and 12 November 2023.[2]The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant the net sum (this means without any money taken off) of £1461 deducted from pay.[3]In addition, the respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant the net sum of £150 to compensate the claimant for financial loss sustained by him (in the form of additional credit card interest of £120 and an unpaid direct debit charge of £30) which was attributable to the unauthorised deduction.
