Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The claim was issued in the Manchester Employment Tribunals on 24 January 2023. It was served on SFR Construction and Retail Limited on 8 February 2023 and again on Sonny Forde Limited on 30 June 2023 when information from the claimant clarified that Sonny Forde Limited were the correct respondents to this claim. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim in accordance with rule 21 of the Rules of Procedure.[2]The respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages and must pay the claimant £3285.00 gross immediately, which represents unpaid wages owed to the claimant between 14 October 2022 and 28 October 2022.
