JUDGMENT

[1]The claimant’s claim that the respondent made an unlawful deduction from his wages for the period from 2-16 November 2020 is well founded and succeeds. The respondent conceded in evidence that no agreement for the deduction had been given by the claimant. The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant the agreed sum of £555.70 representing the amount of the unlawful deduction.

[2]The respondent is found to have failed to provide the claimant with a written statement of employment particulars that complied with part 1 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 in full. The respondent is ordered to pay to the claimant compensation of £515.70 representing two weeks’ pay.

[3]The claimant’s claim of that he was not provided with payslips was not established by the claimant on the balance of the evidence presented and is dismissed.
