JUDGMENT

[1]With the parties consent, the name of the Respondent is changed from Williamsons to Mrs J Mooney t/a Williamsons Bakery.[2]The Claimant’s claim for unfair dismissal is well-founded and succeeds.[3]The Claimant’s claim for unpaid statutory notice pay is not well-founded and is dismissed.[4]The Claimant is entitled to a basic award of £787.50.[5]The Claimant is entitled to a compensatory award of £5,900.[6]These are gross sums and the Claimant is responsible for the payment of any income tax and/or national insurance contributions that may be due on them.[7]The Recoupment Provisions apply. The Prescribed Element is £5,600. The Prescribed Period is 8 December 2020 to 22 June 2021. The total award is £6,687.50. The excess of total award over the prescribed element is £1,087.50.
