JUDGMENT
[1]It is just and equitable pursuant to section 164(3) Employment Rights Act 1996 to extend the time limit for presentation of the claimant’s claim for redundancy payment. (The claimant's claim was presented on 10 February 2020, his employment having ended on 26 April 2019 and was therefore outside the time limit.) Accordingly the Tribunal has jurisdiction to consider his claim.[2]I therefore award the claimant a redundancy payment of £4,716.63 (nine years’ complete service x 1.5 x gross pay £349.38).
