Mr A Williams v CarShop: 2400756/2024
JUDGMENT
The claim is struck out.REASONS
[1]By a Tribunal letter dated 21 April 2024 the claimant was sked to reply by 7 May 2024 in relation to the redundancy claim and to explain if there was any reason why it was not reasonably practicable to present his wages claim within the applicable statutory time limit. The claimant did not respond at all to that letter.[2]By a letter dated 12 June 2024 the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to object to his claim being struck out and to make any representations to the Tribunal. The deadline for a response was 19 June 2024, otherwise his claim would be struck out.[3]As of 4 July 2024 the claimant has failed to respond to either of the Tribunal’s letters (21 April or 12 June 2024) and has failed to object to strike out of his claim. He has not made any written representations and has not asked for the opportunity to make representations at a hearing.[4]As the claimant has failed to reply to the letters and his claim has not been actively pursued, the claim is, therefore, struck out.
