JUDGMENT

Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 22[1]The respondent has made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant's wages and is ordered to pay the claimant the gross sum of £2,786.68 (£1,035.00 – Wages owed between 15th – 30th April 2024, £1,294.67 – Overtime worked between 16th – 31st July 2024 and £457.01 for extra shifts worked between 19th – 27th August 2024).[2]The respondent has acted in breach of the claimant’s contract by failing to pay essential business expenses. The sum of £43.65 remained outstanding at the date employment was terminated. The respondent is ordered to pay damages to the claimant in the sum of £43.85.[3]No award is made in respect for impact on health. The Tribunal has no jurisdiction to award damages or compensation for stress, health issues or inconvenience in respect of these types of claims.[4]The hearing listed on 21st May 2025 is cancelled.
