JUDGMENT
The judgment of the Tribunal is that the claimant’s claim for a statutory redundancy payment was presented on 24 January 2024 after ACAS early conciliation between 20 January 2024 and 24 January 2024. The claimant, who was aged 45 as at the 19 May 2023 (effective date of termination), had made a claim for the statutory redundancy payment by notice in writing to the first respondent and it is just and equitable to extend the statutory time limit of 6 months, the claimant should receive a redundancy payment capped at £1,800 (one thousand eight hundred pounds calculated at £600 per week x 3).
