JUDGMENT
[1]The tribunal has no jurisdiction to consider the claim because the claimant failed to comply with section 18A(1) of the Employment Tribunals Act 1996. Whilst he provided prescribed information to ACAS, the information was not about the matter to which these proceedings related.[2]In any event the tribunal has no jurisdiction to consider the claim because it must be treated as having been presented after the expiry of the statutory time limit. The tribunal has no power to extend the time limit because it was reasonably practicable to present the claim before the time limit expired.[3]The claim is therefore dismissed.
