JUDGMENT

[1]The name of the respondent is amended to AJ’s Hair, Beauty & Tanning Ltd to reflect the correct title of the respondent.[2]The claimant’s claim for notice pay is well founded and suceeds. The respondent is ordered to pay the claimant the gross sum of £189 being 1 week’s statutory notice pay.[3]The claimant was dismissed by reason of redundancy. The respondent’s response to this claim states that they do not contest her claim for a redundancy payment. The claimant is entitled to a redundancy payment of £1701 (1.5 week’s pay for each full year worked when the claimant was aged over 41; 1.5 x 6 x £189 = £1701).[4]The Respondent is ordered to pay the total gross sum of £1890. ___________________
