Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The claim was issued in London South Employment Tribunals on 9 December 2023. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, or part of it, in accordance with rule 21 of the Rules of Procedure.[2]The respondent has made unauthorized deductions from the claimant’s wages and must pay the claimant £9958.57 gross (£9739.77 wages, £218.80 sick pay).[3]If the claimant seeks additional sums by way of unlawful deductions, or to compensate him for any financial loss sustained by him which is attributable to the deductions from wages, the remedy to which the claimant is entitled will be determined at a remedy rearing.[4]If the claimant is seeking further sums under paragraph 3 above, this will be determined at the hearing listed on 11 December 2024, which will proceed as a remedy hearing.
