Mr B Wardlaw v PriceWaterhouse Coopers Services Ltd: 2307001/2023
JUDGMENT
The amendment of the claimant’s claim dated 17 January 2024 and 22 February 2024 is allowed by agreement. The claimant’s claims of indirect disability discrimination, harassment and victimisation are dismissed on withdrawal. The claimant’s application for an anonymity Order under Rule 50 is refused.REASONS
[1]The parties were in agreement in relation to the amendment and dismissal of the claims. The only contested matter was the claimant’s application for an anonymity Order.[2]The claimant’s application is set out in a skeleton argument provided for the claimant. The respondent was neutral on the matter but provided factual submissions to assist the Tribunal. The Tribunal had available to it the Judicial College Guidance on the issue. The Tribunal determined that the facts of this case fell far short of what was required to displace the principle of open justice and refused the application.
