JUDGMENT

[1]The respondent made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages from 20 March to 30 August 2020.[2]The amount of the unauthorised deductions was the difference between the sums the respondent paid the claimant and the sums the respondent would have paid had it calculated the claimant’s average wages in accordance with para 7.2(a) of the Schedule to The Coronavirus Act 2020 Functions of Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme) Treasury Direction of 15 April 2020.[3]Based on the liability judgment, by consent the respondent will pay to the claimant the sum of £2,717.65 gross of statutory deductions.
