The Employment Tribunal Rules of Procedure 2013 - Rule 21[1]The claim was issued in the London South Employment Tribunal on 18 October 2023 and the Respondent has failed to present a valid response on time; or at all.[2]I am satisfied that a determination of the claim, or part of it, can properly be made in accordance with Rule 21 of The Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 (as amended).[3]The Respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the wages properly due to the Claimant and must pay him the sum of £440.00 gross.[4]The Respondent must pay, to the Claimant, the total sum of £440.00 forthwith.[5]The Claimant must account to HMRC for any sums he owes to them in respect of the sum he receives from the Respondent.[6]The hearing, listed on 7 March 2024, is cancelled.
