The Judgment of the Tribunal is that the claimant is entitled to an award of £3336.69 against the respondent in respect of pay in lieu of notice.REASONS
[1]The claimant was employed by the respondent from 2 April 2012 until 18 September 2019 when he was instantly dismissed on account of redundancy.[2]The respondent did not return an ET3. Administrators were appointed and gave permission for the claim to continue in the Tribunal. The respondent was dissolved on 6 December 2021. 2 In terms of section 86(1)(b) of the Employment Rights Act 1996, the claimant was entitled to seven weeks’ notice of termination of employment. He received no notice nor pay in lieu of notice. His week’s pay was £476.67. He is entitled to notice pay of £3336.69. This is the sum awarded.
