Mr S Grace v Blockhouse Hotels Ltd: 2305430/2019
JUDGMENT
Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The Respondent has made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant's wages and is ordered to pay to the Claimant the gross sum of £328.40 (40 hours at £8.21 per hour gross).[2]The Claimant is not entitled to claim a redundancy payment as he did not have sufficient qualifying service under section 155 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 (two years). That complaint was therefore not well founded and was dismissed.[3]The Respondent has failed to pay the claimant’s holiday entitlement and is ordered to pay to the Claimant the sum of £192.11 gross (23.4 hours accrued holiday at £8.21 per hour).[4]The hearing listed to take place on 26 June 2020 is hereby cancelled.
