Miss A Reid v Santander Consumer Finance: 2305333/2024

EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNALS
Case No 2305333/2024
Miss A ReidClaimantSantander Consumer FinanceRespondent
Employment Judge RamsdenDate 16 September 2024

JUDGMENT

The complaint of unfair dismissal is struck out.

REASONS

[1]By a letter dated 26 July 2024 the Tribunal gave the Claimant an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the complaint of unfair dismissal should not be struck out because it it has no reasonable prospect of success, as the Claimant did not have two years’ service at the time of her dismissal, and it appeared to the Tribunal that the specific circumstances entitling an unfair dismissal complaint to be pursued with less than two years’ service did not apply in the Claimant’s case.[2]The Claimant has failed to make representations in writing, or has failed to make any sufficient representations, why this should not be done or to request a hearing. The complaint of unfair dismissal is therefore struck out.[3]The Claimant’s remaining complaint is not affected by this judgment and will be listed for a hearing in due course.
