JUDGMENT
[1]The claimant is awarded compensation for unfair dismissal of £2887 to be paid by the respondent to the claimant.[2]This award consists of: Basic award £1446.18 Compensatory award Loss of statutory rights £500 2 weeks’ loss of earnings £910.82 2 weeks’ loss of pension contributions £30 Total: £1440.82[3]Recoupment does not apply to this award.[4]The respondent is ordered to pay compensation of £40,022 to the claimant for the contravention of the Equality Act 2010.[5]This consists of: Injury to feelings £25,000 Aggravated damages £5,000 Loss of 12 months’ managerial salary £916 Loss of bonus on 28 June 2021£800 Total £31,716 Interest £8,306[6]The interest has been calculated as simple interest which accrues from day to day at the current rate of 8% for the following periods: 1 January 2021 to 8 May 2024 (1223 days) for injury to feelings and aggravated damages (amounting to interest of £8,042) 4 January 2022 (midpoint) to 8 May 2024 (856 days) for loss of managerial salary (amounting to interest of £172) 03 December 2022 (midpoint) to 8 May 2024 (523 days) for loss of bonus (amounting to interest of £92).[7]The total to be paid to the claimant by the respondent is £42,909. .................................................
